Our Pre-School Fees

Here at Pluckley Pre-School we believe in open communication with all parents/carers and staff. Therefore, we hope that this fee structure will assist everyone to understand our charging.

Pricing: Fees are payable termly in advance, you will receive an invoice the first week of every term, outlining amount and payment deadline dates. The fees are reviewed annually and any changes to current rates will be advised in writing, at least 1 term before the increase. Our fees do not include outings, celebrations or entertainment that is in addition to our usual activities.

The fees are £25.50 per pre-planned session (3 hours).

The fees for an adhoc session are £30.00 (3 hours).

The "plus" sessions are priced at £5.00 per session (£10 total for the "Full Day").

Please be aware that the majority of parents are now able to access various government schemes which significantly reduces the price parents have to pay, please see below for an example of how much (or little!) you may have to pay!

Collection & Sibling Timings

We understand that many of you may have older children at the school and want to make the "school run" as smooth as possible.

If you have a child in Rowan or Oak class, your Pre-School child is now eligible for the same arrangement as children in Cherry and Holly classes: your child may remain in school until 3:15 pm. This ensures you can collect all your children at the same time without any rush.

Therefore, in addition to the main sessions, in support of our children and working families, we also offer optional Wrap Around Care services to allow for 7.45am - 3.15pm sessions. 

Additional Information:

Illness/Absence: No refund will be given in the event of a child’s absence due to illness, holiday or any other reason.

Closures: Should the pre school be unable to open due to bad weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, parents will be offered an alternative session.

Late Pick up: Children must be collected promptly at the end of their session/day. Should a parent/carer fail to collect a child/ren within 15 minutes of the session/days end a late collection fee of £10 will be charged.

Late payments: Fees are to be paid within 30 days of the invoice date. If you are experiencing financial hardship please speak, in confidence, to the School Office so that alternative payment arrangements can be made. If, without negotiation, fees are not settled, we are left with no alternative but to withdraw your child’s place in line with our bad debt procedure. Children in receipt of free early education will be able to access their funded hours only.

Deposit: We ask for a £50 fully refundable deposit upon acceptance of your child’s place. If your child is accessing free early education hours only, the deposit will
not be charged.

Payment Methods: Payments may be made by cash, cheque or internet banking

Snacks and Meals: Please provide your child with a snack (fruit) each day/session. The charge for a school dinner is £3.15 per day and these can be ordered and paid for via Schoolgateway. School dinners must be ordered and paid for the day in advance.
